Sellers keep their Solarian until it sells — nothing is held in escrow. A purchase pays the seller and transfers the Solarian in one transaction, so it either completes fully or not at all. The vault of stocks travels with it; check the balance on the stacker page before buying, because it is the seller's to empty until the sale lands.
